EDUCATION
Dr. Harish Murthy completed his MBBS with distinction, securing Second Rank in Karnataka University and First Rank at BLDEA Medical College, Bijapur. He went on to pursue his Master of Surgery (MS) in Orthopaedics at the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, where he trained under renowned orthopaedic experts including Dr. Benjamin Joseph, Dr. Bhaskaranda Kumar, Dr. Sripathi Rao, Dr. S.P. Mohanty, and Dr. Sharath K. Rao. Further strengthening his expertise, he earned the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Orthopaedics from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, reflecting his commitment to excellence in orthopaedic surgery and patient care.
INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE
As an International Travelling Fellow representing the Karnataka Orthopaedic Association, Dr. Harish Murthy has gained valuable global exposure by visiting some of the world's leading orthopaedic centres, including Tameside General Hospital, Royal Liverpool Hospital, Wrightington Hospital, Wishaw General Hospital, Glasgow, and King's College Hospital, London. During these visits, he observed advanced joint replacement procedures and internationally recognised orthopaedic practices, enriching his clinical expertise and enabling him to bring the latest surgical techniques and global standards of patient care to Suraksha Hospital.
ADVANCED TRAINING
Dr. Harish Murthy has continually advanced his expertise through specialized training in orthopaedics and trauma care. He has successfully completed the AO Masters Course in Trauma, Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification, and an AO Fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Jacob Verghese. In addition, he has received advanced training in trauma surgery, joint replacement, and arthroscopy, equipping him with the latest techniques to manage complex orthopaedic conditions and deliver the highest standards of patient care.
