Supportive Visits, Structured for Comfort and Care

At Suraksha Hospital in Raichur, we understand that the presence of loved ones can play a powerful role in a patient’s healing journey. Family and friends provide emotional comfort, encouragement, and reassurance during recovery. To ensure that visits are meaningful and restful—for both patients and caregivers—we have established clear visiting hour guidelines that balance personal connection with medical care, privacy, and safety.
 

General Ward and Semi-Private Rooms
 

Visiting Hours:
Morning – 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Evening – 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
 

During these hours, up to two visitors per patient may be allowed at a time. We request that visitors speak quietly and avoid overcrowding in the ward to maintain a calm environment for all patients.
 

Private and Deluxe Rooms
 

Visiting Hours:
Flexible between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM
 

Private and deluxe room patients may receive visitors more flexibly throughout the day. However, we still encourage that only close family members visit, and not more than two visitors at a time, to allow the patient ample rest and privacy.
 

ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
 

Visiting Hours:
Afternoon – 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM
 

Due to the critical nature of care in our ICU, only one visitor per patient is allowed during the designated visiting time. Visitors must follow strict hygiene protocols, including hand sanitization and wearing protective gear when required. Children below 12 years of age are not permitted in the ICU for safety reasons.
 

Visitor Guidelines
 

To ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone, we request all visitors to follow these simple guidelines:

• Always check in at the front desk or nursing station before visiting a patient.

• Do not bring flowers, outside food, or strong perfumes into patient care areas.

• Refrain from using mobile phones near patient beds or critical care equipment.

• Wash or sanitize hands before and after the visit.

• Avoid visiting if you are feeling unwell, especially with fever, cough, or cold.

• Children should be accompanied by an adult at all times and may not be allowed in all patient areas.
   

Special Cases and Exceptions
 

In special situations—such as terminal care, post-operative recovery, or patients needing continuous support—exceptions to standard visiting hours may be granted at the discretion of the treating doctor or nursing in-charge. Please speak to our staff if you need help or clarification.
